We are constantly searching for security. True security is a deep acknowledgement that we are accepting of who we are at any moment. As we live each day, our inner security will keep us on track, trusting ourselves and heading towards our goals.
Early teaching can colour our lives, and it takes making choices to change that. What does it mean to judge ourselves? Have you ever given thought to judgement? I recall once listening to a person speaking that I had a lot of respect for and realizing that they did not judge. That was clear to me and I was amazed. Judgement tends to keep us locked in the past, using habits we were taught, rather than being our true selves.
One thing is for sure, if we judge others, we are judging ourselves.
To doubt ourselves is to question our true feelings. Thoughts such as, “someone else knows better”, “I don’t want to stand out in a crowd”, “I want to feel as if I belong so I won’t make waves”, can create doubt and undermine trust in ourselves.
Actually, belonging is being true to us, not to someone or something else. Belonging is to trust our wisdom, knowing we have something unique to share with the world. No one else can share what we each have come to share.
Nothing outside ourselves has the authority to tell us who we are and what we are experiencing. We have the responsibility to ourselves to trust ourselves and to live our own life. This is personal and we can be forever grateful that we have experiences for growth.
Acceptance of ourselves gives us the assurance we need to share freely what we have. With conviction, we can clarify ourselves and live our life fully. We become the power we have within to share our wisdom. Our commitment to ourselves shows up in everything we do. Life becomes richer and more fulfilling and we end each day with a sense of accomplishment.
How can you stay connected to yourself and live your best life, to be who you are, a soul in a physical body who is here on planet earth to grow in consciousness? Here are some suggestions:
- Have the patience to grow step by step. Take everything one hour, one day or one week at a time, however it comes.
- Avoid using outside pressure as a motivator, but allow the inner to keep you directed towards successful living.
- Take a deep breath and relax! Sometimes that is all it takes to tune into your spiritual nature. It is a simple technique that is an easy route to inner harmony and is well worth the investment in time.
Share with others from your inner light with a sense of hope, to build strength and happiness in each day. You are what you think!
If doubt instead of trust starts to crowd your thinking, try an affirmation to help you stay focused and moving with the freedom of being yourself: “I am free, I am safe”. Acknowledge that you live with inner freedom.
Working together in teamwork takes trust, and trust starts within each member of the team. There is always common ground among people who gather together with a common goal. Each person has a piece of the pie, and only they can bring it out. It takes inner listening to hear the clear, small voice within that connects us to the spirit of one another and clarifies why we are together.
